The Central PA Update (By: Shel Hoachlander)

Sherri Mullen is another aspiring artist who recently took the stages with her version of rock & roll and since then, has released her own CD, entitled “Mask.” In addition to gracing the stages throughout Harrisburg and surrounding areas, Sherri is also the hostess of a local internet radio show, The Musician’s Showcase. Every Tuesday between 8:00 and 10:00 pm, listeners have an opportunity to hear some of the finest bands in Pennsylvania. Completely dedicated to Pennsylvania artists and surrounding neighbors (even as far as Canada!), Sherri devotes her show to other aspiring artists and gives them an opportunity to be here via the internet. Always a great show, Sherri also hosts the nightly ‘chat,’ in which many regular listeners join in conversation pertaining to music; and on occasion, some pretty interesting topics (join in to find out more!). Each week brings new names to the group as well as new music and artist’s tips of the trade. Log onto www.sherrimullen.com, and follow the instructions to listen in every Tuesday!

While keeping herself busy performing, recording, and hosting a weekly radio show, Sherri has recently dedicated her song, “Home of the Free” to the many brave service men and women, as her way of saying THANK YOU for all their hard work. The song is available for a free download, via her website, and hopes that her gift will reach many of our soldiers and show her appreciation for their efforts.
